  1. A good mentor saves you time and pain. A good mentee listens and executes.

  2. Good customer service degrades over time. It must be nurtured and cultivated.

  3. Fool me once shame on you. Don’t get fooled a second time.

  4. Experience and time are correlated but you can shortcut that relationship. Iterations build experience and knowledge.

  5. Hanlon’s Razor is wrong. People can hurt you by doing nothing when they need to act. Don’t let them off the hook.

  6. Sales get priority. Why? Because you’re burning down the cash the moment after your last win.

  7. Bad quality control will ruin a good thing.
